Wheels Up chief sales officer Mark Briffa is stepping down at the end of August, the private aviation company announced Monday. He took over that role in June 2025 after heading up Air Partner, which Wheels Up purchased in 2022.
Chief digital officer David Godsman will lead global sales in the interim as Wheels Up conducts a search for a new chief sales officer.
The announcements come after Delta Air Lines' Mike Bowman joined Wheels Up as EVP of global corporate sales, a newly created position, following an 18-year career at Delta, a key investor in Wheels Up. Bowman will report to Godsman and lead corporate sales strategy across enterprise customers, industry verticals and small and midsized companies, according to the aviation company.
