JetBlue and United Airlines have begun to cross-sell flights on their respective websites and mobile app as part of their Blue Sky collaboration, the carriers announced Tuesday. Customers can use cash, points or miles to pay for their itineraries.
"Customers will start to see more options from both carriers, making it easier to book travel using the booking method of their choice," according to United. "The airlines expect to later add the ability to book a single itinerary that includes flights operated by both JetBlue and United in the future."
Additional new changes through Blue Sky to come include reciprocal perks and benefits, including priority boarding, preferred and extra legroom seating, and same-day changes and standby, expected to launch this spring. United's return to New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport for up to seven daily roundtrips still is slated for 2027.
Reciprocal loyalty earning and redemption benefits through Blue Sky launched in October 2025.
