Members of JetBlue's TrueBlue and United Airlines' MileagePlus loyalty programs now can earn and redeem miles across both airlines, the carriers announced Thursday. The reciprocal benefits are part of the airlines' Blue Sky partnership, announced in May.
TrueBlue members can access flights across United global network, including those on United Express. Mileage Plus members can earn and redeem on "most flights across JetBlue's network of top leisure destinations," according to the carriers. Some JetBlue routes are not eligible for Mileage Plus accrual and redemption. Available redemption flights will appear on each airline's booking channels.
According to the carriers, additional Blue Sky benefits are set to be rolled out in phases, including revenue booking (Q1 2026); reciprocal perks and benefits, such as priority boarding, preferred and extra legroom seating, same-day standby and flight changes (early 2026); and the transition of United's MileagePlus Travel to JetBlue's Paisly platform (early 2026). The ability for United to access slots for up to seven daily roundtrips at John F. Kennedy International Airport still is projected for 2027.
