Korean Air on Sept. 15 will launch flights equipped with
Starlink high-speed Wi-Fi service, the carrier announced Thursday.
The service will be available on four newly retrofitted
widebody aircraft: three Airbus A350-900 and one Boeing 777-300ER planes.
Korean Air will deploy the aircraft on medium- and long-haul routes across the
Americas, Europe and Southeast Asia, as well as on "key short-haul
flights," according to the carrier.
Korean Air plans to progressively roll out Starlink
connectivity across its in-service fleet by the end of 2027.
