Avianca on Sept. 15 will offer its new business-class cabin to more than 40 additional international routes, the carrier announced Tuesday. These additions will bring the total routes served with the new business class on Airbus A320 aircraft to more than 80, according to the airline.
The expanded business-class service will be added to flights between Bogotá, Colombia, and each Dallas Fort Worth; Tampa; San Juan, P.R.; Santo Domingo and Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic; Cancun, Mexico; Havana, Cuba; Guatemala City; San José, Costa Rica; Aruba; Curaçao; Caracas, Venezuela; Quito and Guayaquil in Ecuador; La Paz and Santa Cruz de la Sierra in Bolivia; Manaus, Brazil; and Cusco, Peru.
Medellín routes on which the cabin will be available include each Mexico City and Cancun; Miami and Fort Lauderdale in Florida; Panama City, Panama; San Juan, P.R; San José, Costa Rica; Punta Cana; Quito; and Guayaquil.
The cabin also will be available on flights between San Salvador, El Salvador, and each Toronto; Boston; Ontario Los Angeles; Dallas Fort Worth; Houston; Miami; Cancun; Guatemala City; San Pedro Sula and Tegucigalpa in Honduras; Managua, Nicaragua; San José, Costa Rica, Quito and Guayaquil.
Avianca introduced its new business class for Airbus A320 aircraft on July 1, 2024, on flights between Bogotá and 11 destinations in the Americas. The carrier initially expanded that service in December to 23 more routes.
