Michael Brous
Lyft has named as its next CFO its head of urban solutions and safety and customer care, Michael Brous, effective Sept. 28, the ride-hailing company announced Wednesday. He will succeed Erin Brewer, who has announced her retirement.
Brous joined Lyft in 2018 through the acquisition of bike-share provider Motivate, where he was VP of finance. He has been in his current role for three years and has overseen the micromobility provider with more than 195,000 bikes across 55 systems worldwide, including New York's Citi Bike, London's Santander Cycles and Barcelona's Bicing, according to Lyft.
Brewer joined Lyft as CFO in July 2023. She will remain with the company as an advisor through Dec. 15 to support the transition.
Meanwhile, Lyft on Wednesday also announced that Waymo rides are now available on the Lyft app in Nashville. This is the first market where Waymo vehicles are available across both the Waymo and Lyft apps, according to Lyft.
