United Airlines for its summer 2026 schedule will add four new European routes, the carrier announced Thursday. It also will bring back service on all of the new routes it debuted this past summer, United SVP of global network planning and alliances Patrick Quayle said during a Wednesday press conference.
The four new routes include service between Newark and Split, Croatia, to begin April 30. Flights will operate three times weekly with Boeing 767-300ER aircraft. Service will launch May 1 between Newark and Bari, Italy, in the Puglia region, operating four times weekly with Boeing 767-300ER aircraft.
United plans to launch on May 8 service between Newark and Glasgow, Scotland, operating daily with Boeing 737 Max-8 aircraft. And on May 27, the carrier will begin direct service between Newark and Santiago de Compostela, Spain, in the Galicia region, with three times weekly service on Boeing 737 Max-8 aircraft.
In addition, United on May 21 will add daily service between Washington Dulles and Reykjavik, Iceland, operating with Boeing 757-200 aircraft. It also will add service to Seoul from Newark on Sept. 4 with Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft. This service is in addition to the carrier's twice-daily flights to Seoul from San Francisco. Tel Aviv service to and from Newark on March 28 will increase to three times weekly, operating on Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.
