Southwest Airlines in July added TAP Air Portugal as its 10th international partner, Southwest confirmed Wednesday.
The carriers' shared gateways include Boston, Los Angeles, Miami and San Francisco. Through the TAP Air Portugal partnership, Southwest customers gain access to Lisbon, other connections in Europe, Africa and South America, according to the Dallas-based carrier.
Since announcing its first overseas partner Icelandair in September 2024, Southwest, in addition to TAP Air Portugal, has added partnerships with China Airlines, EVA Air, Philippine Airlines, Condor, Turkish Airlines, All Nippon Airways, Singapore Airlines and Air Premia.
