Perk has enabled trip booking, expense management and other tasks through AI assistants, the travel management company announced.
Via its Model Context Protocol Server, customers globally with Perk, formerly TravelPerk, can perform tasks through such AI assistants as Claude and ChatGPT with natural language queries. For example, a traveler can ask the assistant to find a flight for a certain trip or cancel a booking, while a manager can ask it to approve all expenses under a certain dollar amount or look for out-of-policy bookings.
"We built this so customers can get insights and take action in real time, while businesses maintain control no matter what tools they're working in," Perk chief product officer Nikita Miller said in a statement.
The MCP also lets event managers work in the assistants, such as for queries to set up regular offsite meetings or to send out reminders to employees who haven't responded for events, according to Perk. In addition, the MCP can surface electronic visa and other entry requirements as well through its Entry Ready tool.
Next month, Perk plans to launch its Perk Agent in Slack, letting users interact in Slack and access the MCP connector as they can in the AI assistants, the company said.
