BCD Travel's Advito consulting division has launched a new consulting service to help clients plan and adopt AI tools and capabilities at their company.
Advito's AI Gateway service—stemming from its employee engagement practice, Engage—guides companies through the full deployment of AI. Companies that adopt AI tools often find unexpected challenges after selecting a tool, such as ensuring employees understand how the tools fit into their work, establishing guardrails and driving value from the investment, according to Advito.
"AI doesn’t automatically create value," Engage at Advito senior director and practice area lead Kelly Ellis said in a statement. "The value comes from employees understanding how it fits into their work, knowing where their judgement still matters and having the confidence to use it well. Our solution is designed to turn AI investments into tools that drive real value."
The service includes four components: an AI readiness assessment, strategic planning for AI adoption, governance and implementation planning around AI use and guidance through adoption and change management, including strategy around communication, training and pilot groups, Advito said.
While the service can support clients at different stages of adoption, "a clear roadmap is more effective when employees know why change is happening, how it benefits them, what is expected of them and where they can turn for support," according to Ellis.
Advito said it already has applied the AI Gateway model to some large global organizations, including one large investment firm that needed to target 70,000 employees with communication, training and engagement.
