AI corporate travel platform BizTrip AI has introduced custom Model Context Protocol functionality that permits natural-language corporate travel booking within the Claude and ChatGPT AI assistants, BizTrip AI announced Wednesday.
Users who connect their BizTrip AI accounts to Claude and ChatGPT can search for travel in those platforms using natural language, and BizTrip AI will display applicable air, hotel and car rental content and enable booking. BizTrip AI allows users to apply corporate policy to natural-language searches, and earlier this year partnered to use Sabre's global distribution system and SabreMosaic Travel Marketplace to access content.
"So many teams are living inside Claude and ChatGPT all day—this puts business travel where the work already happens," said BizTrip AI head of product strategy Valerie Layman in a statement. "By bringing our planning and booking capabilities directly into these interfaces, we are meeting users exactly where they are, eliminating the friction of switching between apps."
Launched last year, BizTrip AI this summer reported about a dozen enterprise clients at different stages of pilot programs.
