September 2026 Announcements
For the week ending September 4
Alaska Airlines on Dec. 19 will add service between San Diego and Loreto, Mexico, the carrier announced Sept. 3. The route will be the 50th nonstop from San Diego for the airline. The seasonal service will operate twice weekly with Embraer E175 aircraft.
Air Canada on Sept. 3 announced five new international destinations for summer 2027. Read more here.
Avianca has resumed service between Bogota and Caracas, and launched new nonstop service between Bogota and Maracaibo, Venezuela, the carrier announced Sept. 1. Each route operates daily with Airbus A320 aircraft.
American Airlines on Aug. 27 announced three new international destinations plus four new routes for Summer 2027. Read more here.
