Air Canada in summer 2027 will add five international destinations to its network and add a new route to a city already served, the carrier announced Thursday.
The five new nonstop international routes include:
- Service between Vancouver and Guangzhou, China, beginning May 4. Flights will operate three times weekly year-round on Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft.
- Service between Toronto and Oslo, beginning June 2 with flights operating four times weekly on Airbus A321XLR aircraft.
- Service between Toronto and Shannon, Ireland, launching June 10 and operating three times weekly with Airbus A321XLR aircraft.
- Service between Montreal and Basel, Switzerland, launching June 16 and operating four times weekly with Airbus A321XLR aircraft.
- Service between Montreal and Dubrovnik, Croatia, beginning May 11 and operating three times weekly with Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft.
Air Canada also will begin service between Toronto and Nice, France, beginning June 16. The route will operate twice weekly with Airbus A330-300 aircraft. The carrier already flies to Nice from Montreal.
In addition, the carrier will resume its Air Canada Daytripper, which is a daytime flight between Toronto and London Heathrow, for the summer season. It also plans to increase its Toronto-Shanghai flights to daily, and the Toronto-Guatemala City route launching Dec. 1 will be year-round.
Flights between Montreal and each Tenerife in the Canary Islands, Lima, Peru, and Guatemala City will become year-round, according to Air Canada.
