Cerebri AI has launched the first of its "digital employee" AI agents, including those capable of auditing documents and contracts for corporate travel programs, the company announced.
Among the AI agents now available from the data engineering and analytics provider is CAI Docs, which can audit and compare documents and handle queries of travel policies and contracts, the company said. The company also has released CAI Air Contracts, which can ensure that airfares booked by employees are discounted at contracted rates and report savings on those bookings.
The company said its AI agents are able to go beyond the work of chatbots, that effectively are "digital encyclopedias," with the ability to tap APIs, browse the web and manage tasks.
"Corporate travel managers have long struggled with fragmented data, manual contract reviews and audits, policy enforcement and endless administrative burdens," Cerebri AI founder and CEO Jean Belanger said in a statement. "Agents will take over much of this work in workflows of choice, replacing traditional [user experience] with autonomous employees that report ROI for every action they take."
The company said it plans to release additional agents this quarter, including a Trip Cost agent that can manage data for total trip costs and a Hotel RFP agent that automates the transient hotel request-for-proposal process.
