Corporate Travel Management North America has enabled modification capabilities in SAP Concur for hotel bookings via aggregators and global distribution systems, the travel management company announced.
The capability means agent intervention no longer is required to amend bookings on GDS and aggregator content, CTM said. It comes through cooperation with technology provider HotelHub, and it "simplifies the experience for our customers who choose Concur Travel, giving travelers and bookers greater flexibility while reducing potential friction points," according to CTM SVP of supplier relations Marwan Batrouni.
CTM already had partnered with HotelHub to integrate its Sleep Space hotel content within Concur Travel. CTM expanded Sleep Space into North America last year.
Meanwhile, CTM currently is conducting a forensic accounting review of its U.K. operations, which it expects to finish this month, following a disclosure that it had overcharged clients in the U.K., and its shares have been suspended from trading on the Australian Stock Exchange since August. The TMC said the overcharging issue was limited to the U.K. and that its business operations have continued with "minimal disruption."
