Troovo Technologies has integrated its automated virtual payment card issuing and processing services into Mastercard's In Control for Business Travel platform, which delivers virtual cards for use in corporate travel bookings made via travel management companies and online booking tools.
Under the integration—which is available globally—Troovo's virtual card generation services include no cost for the travel buyer or booker; instead, the card's issuing bank covers the fee through its ICBT licensing agreement.
Developed in partnership with Conferma and launched globally in 2014, ICBT is Mastercard's in-house virtual card delivery platform designed specifically for corporate travel. The network also offers a virtual payment solution designed for general corporate purchasing, In Control for Commercial Payments.
The ICBT integration is the latest step in the steady expansion of Troovo's virtual card issuing service, which is powered by the Australia-based company's patented robotics process automation technology. In October, Troovo signed partnership deals with TMC Flight Centre Travel Group and mobile travel technology app developer MTrip.
