Expense management platform Expensify has entered into a referral agreement with Visa, in which Visa will refer clients and corporate card programs to Expensify as an expense management option, the companies announced.
Expensify said the referral agreement gives Visa clients an option for adding expense management capabilities—including automated syncing of transactions, receipt matching, policy enforcement and spending limits—to their current card programs. While Expensify has its own expanding commercial card offering, it has also maintained a "bring your own card" program to support external corporate card programs.
"Corporate cardholders shouldn’t have to give up the points, perks and banking relationships they’ve built just to get modern spend controls," Expensify head of partnerships Nick Tooker said in a statement. "Our pitch is simple: Link your Visa card to Expensify and you get world-class expense management without changing anything about how you pay."
