Flight Centre Travel Group will deploy robotics process
automation specialist Troovo's virtual payment platform over the
next several months for supplier payments across all systems and platforms. Travel
management companies increasingly have leveraged virtual cards for use in
making payments on behalf of their corporate travel buyer clients.
Australia-based Troovo previously signed on Orbit World Travel, New Zealand's
largest TMC, as a client for its virtual payment solution. While some TMCs have
opted for direct integrations with virtual card providers, other distribution
models enable TMCs to use virtual cards through aggregators,
global
distribution systems and mid-
and back-office tech specialists, among other channels.
