Cvent has added multiple Covid-19 safety-related features to two of its products, the company announced Tuesday during its Cvent Connect virtual conference.
In addition to the Source Safely Hub, which was introduced in July, the Cvent Supplier Network now offers a meeting space calculator, with which planners can calculate meeting space needs considering anticipated attendee count and social-distancing requirements. An outdoor space and safety protocol filter allows only venues that offer outdoor meeting space and/or provide health and safety protocol information in their venue profile to appear in venue searches. In addition, come September, venues will be able to provide 3D interactive floorplans and virtual site inspections within their CSN profiles.
Meanwhile, Cvent Event Diagramming, formerly known as Social Tables, now enables planners and venues to create to-scale layouts for spacing requirements. The diagram check allows for a meeting space audit to ensure event layouts and floorplans meet designated spacing and capacity requirements. Further, venues can add health and safety elements to the floorplans, such as temperature-check stations, hygiene stands, social-distancing stickers and sanitizing stations within to-scale diagrams.
