About 32 percent of oil and gas executives recently surveyed by travel management company CWT indicated their firms measure and report the impact of traveler health, safety and well-being.
About 13 percent of the 388 oil and gas C-suite executives surveyed in September by CWT indicated they wanted to conduct such measurement but didn't have the tools to do so. About 6 percent of respondents indicated they didn't know if their organizations did so, and the remainder did not.
Among the respondents, 26 percent were from North America, 22 percent were from Europe, 19 percent were from Africa and 33 percent were from Asia, Latin America and the Middle East.
About 26 percent of respondents are actively investigating services and solutions for traveler health, safety and well-being, according to CWT. Another 11 percent reported they would like to but don't feel they have the tools to do so, while another 11 percent weren't sure. Separately, more than one-third of the respondents said they are considering new services and solutions to investigate traveler health, safety and well-being.
