Wyndham Hotels & Resorts CFO Michele Allen is stepping down from her role effective immediately to "pursue a new career opportunity outside of the hotel industry," the company announced. Allen will stay with Wyndham in an advisory capacity through Dec. 31.
Wyndham named treasurer and head of financial partnerships and planning Kurt Albert to serve as interim CFO, effective immediately, while it conducts a search for a permanent replacement. The company will consider both internal and external candidates for the role, it said.
Allen had served as Wyndham's CFO since 2019, and has been with the company for more than 25 years. "Her exceptional financial acumen and strategic vision have helped steer Wyndham through many pivotal moments," Wyndham president and CEO Geoff Ballotti said in a statement. "The contributions she's made over the years are countless—from advancing key business priorities to nurturing a world-class finance team."
Albert first joined Wyndham in 2009 and has been in his current role since May 2024. Before that, he was the company's SVP and treasurer, according to his LinkedIn profile.
