Aer Lingus on Oct. 21 will resume direct flights between Dublin and Miami after a two-and-a-half-year hiatus, the carrier announced Friday. The route will operate twice weekly to start, then increase on Oct. 31 to three times weekly for the airline’s winter schedule.
The news comes on the heels of Aer Lingus announcing new Cleveland service and a resumption of Hartford, Conn., flights.
Dublin Airport includes a U.S. immigration preclearance facility where passengers can clear immigration and customs before boarding their flights instead of doing so upon arrival in the United States.
