Hertz has promoted former EVP of technical operations Mike Moore to EVP and chief operating officer, the car rental company announced Friday.
Moore, a former Delta Air Lines and Northwest Airlines executive who joined Hertz in 2024, will have "direct, end-to-end responsibility for all fleet operations," Hertz said in a statement.
The move was effective Sept. 30, Hertz disclosed in a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
"Mike's proven leadership in optimizing our fleet and delivering process rigor, combined with his deep knowledge of our business, make him the right leader to drive results and strengthen our foundation for sustained performance," Hertz CEO Gil West said in a statement.
Hertz has been without a permanent COO since June 2024, when previous COO Justin Keppy resigned.
