From British Columbia, WestJet plans to restart eight routes and add 10 new routes by July 5. WestJet also will start service from Calgary to Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, on July 29, a route the carrier originally planned to start in June 2020.
In addition to the new Charlottetown service, seven routes in Atlantic Canada will be restored over the next week, including service between Halifax and Toronto and service to Sydney, Nova Scotia, and to Deer Lake and Gander, Newfoundland.
From Saskatchewan, WestJet resumed service between Edmonton and Regina on Friday and will restart service between Edmonton and Saskatoon on July 6. In addition, WestJet will start three new routes over the next few days: from Regina to Kelowna and from Saskatoon to both Kelowna and Victoria.
