Private aviation network VistaJet has created a new "Dynamic Corporate Membership" plan in response to increased demand for private aviation for business travel.
The program is designed for "maximum flexibility with minimum commitment," according to VistaJet chief commercial officer Ian Moore, and provides one-day signup, unlimited flying hours and the option to pay in arrears. It also provides a dedicated flight manager based in the client's headquarters, a dedicated cabin hostess that flies only on the company's trips to limit Covid-19 exposure and a carbon reduction and offset option.
VistaJet noted it has seen corporate interest in private aviation grow 49 percent since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, with a large portion of demand coming from the United States. Data from Flight Aware in late September showed that business aviation in the United States was down 14.1 percent from 2019 levels in terms of flights per day, while commercial aviation was down 50.9 percent.
Long-haul flights have become a larger share of demand, with flights between the United States and China among the busiest routes over the past six months, according to VistaJet.
