Delta Air Lines is "overhauling" elements of the Delta One premium-cabin experience, the carrier announced Wednesday.
The carrier this spring announced it would add new suites in 2027 for the Delta One cabin
As part of the overhaul Delta will offer new dining and beverage menus and "enhanced" tableware. It will offer Bombas socks and new winter Missoni amenity kits, featuring Grown Alchemist skincare products, a Marvis dental kit and Missoni-branded "comfort items." In addition, there will be a second Missoni cuddle pillow included in the suite's bedding.
Delta will decrease to 18 hours in advance of flight time from 24 hours the window in which to pre-order entrées.
The new food menus were created by chef Simon Hulstone, who led a Michelin-star restaurant for 20 years, and include options such as a Wagyu beef burger, roasted sea bass, braised lamb, beef short ribs and a rotating vegetarian risotto.
There's also a new Delta One wine program, led by master sommelier Andrea Robinson, which includes 13 wines from 11 wineries with a significant number coming from Napa Valley, such as Silver Oak. The current selections will be on board between October 2026 and September 2027.
In addition, there will be a new cocktail and mocktail program. Beginning Dec. 1 Blanton's Kentucky bourbon, which has limited production, will be available, and starting Nov. 3 for flights to and from Tokyo Haneda, Dassai sake will be available.
Delta's overall updated Delta One experience at first will be available beginning Nov. 3 on transoceanic Delta One routes departing Los Angeles International Airport, with expansion to the full global network in early 2027, according to the carrier.
Further, for customers booking the Delta VIP Select service, the carrier has expanded its partnership with Porsche to offer 70 hybrid vehicles, up from 40, across 15 key airports and hubs by 2028.
Delta executives also confirmed that the first retrofitted aircraft with the new Delta One suites was scheduled to be delivered in April and put into service shortly thereafter. The first Airbus A350-1000 with the new suites also is scheduled for delivery in April and will be in service by the second half of 2027.
