Alaska Airlines passenger revenues increased 3 percent year
over year to $1.3 billion during the second quarter, the carrier reported.
Traffic and capacity both increased 11.2 percent, holding Alaska's load factor
flat at 84.9 percent. Yield declined 7.7 percent. Alaska reported a net income
of $260 million for the quarter, up from $234 million in the second quarter of
2015.
