WestJet and Qatar Airways on Nov. 2 will launch a reciprocal codeshare partnership that will enable guests to connect with a single booking experience, WestJet announced Monday. Tickets sales started today.
WestJet initially will place its code on Qatar Airways' nonstop services between Doha and each Toronto and Montreal, while Qatar Airways' will place its code on select WestJet-operated flights from each Toronto and Montreal, according to WestJet. Those include 11 Canadian destinations such as Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Halifax, St. Johns and Winnipeg.
WestJet plans to place its code on select destinations beyond Doha "in a future phase," according to the carrier.
