Corporate payment and expense provider Center is rolling out a new Mastercard-branded credit card, the company announced. Issued by Comdata, the Center Corporate Credit Card will replace the company's existing Visa-branded debit card as the payment aspect of its integrated payment and expense platform.
The Center Corporate Credit Card enables managers to set policy controls and spending limits, while expenses incurred on the card flow directly into the Center Expense tool, according to Center. The card can be issued to an individual employee or serve as a purchasing card for a team or department, the company said.
Focused on the small and midsize corporate segment, Center is among the growing number of providers offering an all-in-one corporate card and expense platform, touting as advantages of that model simplified card issuing, more accurate data capture, tighter spending controls and real-time reporting and reconciliation.
Center CEO Naveen Singh said the company is in the process of transitioning existing users of the debit card over to the credit card.
