<H1> Travel Managers On The Move</H1>Debra St. Germain, director of corporate travel for Alexander & Alexander, is leaving her position and hanging out a shingle. Next month she'll join her husband in starting Scottsdale, Ariz.-based consulting firm The Constellation Group, using her experience in travel management and his in aviation. St. Germain was the travel manager for Booz-Allen & Hamilton and had previously worked for 11 years at American Airlines.
"I'd like to go to companies that are minus a travel manager or companies that have not yet developed a program and do a needs analysis," she said. "I think I have a broader perspective, both on the internal processes of travel management and from the supplier side."
<H3></H3> Jon Fredrickson, corporate travel and transportation manager for Minneapolis-based Honeywell Inc. for the past six years, has joined Carlson Wagonlit Travel as director of sales for the global payment product. For Fredrickson, the move to Carlson is a homecoming of sorts: He worked for the agency, then known as Carlson Travel Management, before joining Honeywell. During his years at Honeywell, the company consolidated travel with Carlson, but used the American Express corporate card.
<H3></H3> Peter November, former manager of material and quality assurance for the United Technologies Research Center, has joined Runzheimer International, the consulting firm in Rochester, Wis. November left UTC in January after 27 years. He expects to work with Rolfe Shellenberger on consulting and developing new products. He will be based in Wethersfield, Conn.
<H3></H3> Craig Anderson has joined Revlon, New York, as director of travel services. Anderson previously served as manager of travel services for American Brands Inc. in Old Greenwich, Conn. In his new position, Anderson is charged with automation, travel policies, vendor relations and the executive car fleet. "Revlon is establishing a new communications platform, and travel services is part of it," he said.
<H3></H3> Nestle USA is in the process of implementing an expense management system, but director of travel and special events Suzanne Loeb won't be using it. She is moving her family to Seattle to take over the job Wayne Bergen recently vacated as director of corporate travel for Weyerhauser. Bergen left Weyerhauser several months ago to head travel for Morgan Stanley in New York (<I>BTN</I>, April 22).
