Conferma and AirPlus have collaborated to enable virtual card generation within procurement and ERP workflows, the companies announced.
With the collaboration, building on a long-time partnership between the two companies, clients can make card payments available at the point of purchase within procurement and ERP systems. That way, companies do not have to use separate tools for payment and can broaden use of their virtual cards beyond travel, according to the companies.
"Virtual card adoption has been limited by the need to change established workflows," Conferma chief commercial officer Sonya Geelon said in a statement. "By embedding payment directly into procurement and finance systems, we're removing that barrier and enabling organizations to scale adoption without added complexity."
AirPlus, which in 2024 was acquired by Swedish bank SEB Kort, reports about 70,000 corporate customers.
