NBTA Confirms Fletcher As President; Elects Franklin, Lang
National Business Travel Association convention delegates gathered in San Diego have elected new officers to lead the organization for the next two years. In addition to endorsing as president Suzanne Fletcher, director of travel, meetings, food services and fleet transportation for Weyerhaeuser, delegates also elected as vice president Charles Franklin, manager of corporate services for American Honda, and as board member at large Paul Lang, manager of travel services for Bayer.
Delegates also approved a bylaw change to allow students and educators to become association members. Meanwhile, NBTA unveiled a new Corporate Travel Executive designation that executives entering the business travel industry can attain.
