This 1893 Italianate palazzo occupies 22 acres near the back entrance to Tanglewood and continues to dazzle arrivals, even without all the chesterfields and chintz. During its construction, more than 100 Italian artisans worked on it. The hotel is now on the National Register of Historic Places.
