United Airlines has suspended some flights to Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong next week, citing "significant decline in demand for travel to China" amid the coronavirus. Beginning Feb. 1, United has canceled 24 flights between its hubs in San Francisco, Newark, Chicago and Dulles and the three cities through Feb. 8. "The reductions reflect our significant drop in load factors," United said in a statement. "Additionally, though we have implemented a temporary reduction, we are still operating flights between the U.S. and China to enable customers to travel between the two countries." United, along with Delta and American Airlines, all have issued change fee waivers through the end of February for flights to China.
