New MasterCard Issuer Providing Cards To Midmarket
Chicago-based Harris Bank today announced the launch of a corporate MasterCard product designed specifically for midsize businesses.
Midmarket companies, defined by Harris as those with between $10 million and $250 million in annual revenue, can integrate travel and entertainment spending with purchasing and fleet expenses on the card, according to the bank. It also offers a Web-based reporting function for card program management.
A Harris spokesman said the bank already has clients up and running on the new card. Through an education process for its midmarket bankers, it's also pursuing several leads for other new midmarket clients, he said.
Harris reports more than 230 branches, 600 branded automated teller machines, and management offices in seven states: Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, New Jersey, Virginia and Washington.
