Enterprise software giant Oracle's U.S.-booked air volume
increased in 2024,
reflecting the company’s
business expansion and the continued recovery of post-pandemic travel. The
company’s 2025
U.S.-booked air volume could reach $135
million.
The
Oracle program was among the first to integrate New
Distribution Capability fares systematically
through its travel program in 2023. That work
continued in 2024 along with travel engagement
surveying and a focus on facilitating
non-employee travel. Oracle also
conducted a policy compliance review in 2024, though it did not significantly
change its policy, nor does it have plans to do so this year.
About
95 percent of Oracle’s
U.S.-booked air tickets were
processed through its preferred GetThere
platform, and 84 percent
were completed without agent assistance.
Oracle has a single global travel policy with pre-trip approval processes,
though these remain non-automated.
The technology platform includes hotel and airline reshopping capabilities to optimize
costs.
Oracle’s
revenue in its 2025 fiscal year (which ended May 31, 2025) totaled $57.4
billion, up from $53 billion
in the prior fiscal year. Oracle
has about 162,000
full-time employees, of which approximately 58,000 are employed in the U.S. and
approximately 104,000 internationally.
