Meanwhile, travel management companies remained the travel vendors most receptive and hotels the least receptive to negotiating.
For this sixth annual survey, Equation Research hosted an online questionnaire designed by Business Travel News and tabulated responses from about 70 companies with 2006 U.S. booked air spending between $50,000 and $2 million and about 60 companies that spent $2 million to $12 million. Participants attending a session at Corporate Travel World last May received a report based on preliminary research findings.
All survey participants received a complete report containing 35 charts. The following are highlights from that report.
