UA, US Airways To Link E-Tickets
New partners United Airlines and US Airways today said electronic ticket interlining will be switched on this Wednesday, allowing passengers to use a single e-ticket for an itinerary involving both carriers or more easily rebook in the case of a flight cancellation or delay. The e-ticket interlining connection will be the first for US Airways; United already has established such links with Air Canada, American, Continental, Delta and Northwest airlines.
Meanwhile, as previously announced, the two airlines today began offering passengers reciprocal lounge access at a combined 70 airport club locations in 17 countries.
