Program Benefits: United for Business Blueprint offers three “flavors,” depending on program objectives: Blueprint Discover, Blueprint Experience and Blueprint Savings. Benefits multiply as a company’s spend increases—generally, when a company reaches $1 million in annual spend. Blueprint applies to United Corporate Direct programs, or it can be used via an agency relationship. There are some requirements for the corporation on the “Experience” and “Savings” versions. They include an ARC data flow; 90% of travelers enrolled in United’s MileagePlus loyalty app and 90% using the United mobile app. The client must designate United as a preferred carrier in its online booking tool.
Loyalty Benefits: Companies have choices of amenity accrual, depending on the Blueprint the spend level. With all programs, employees additionally earn miles as MileagePlus members. NOTE: United has been working to sunset the PerksPlus business loyalty program. As of Feb. 1, 2024, United offers PerksPlus only to companies booking via a travel agency. Customers booking direct through PerksPlus do not accrue points; however, they can redeem remaining points before January 31, 2026.
