Ride-hailing provider Bolt now allows Bolt for Business travelers to link rides paid with individual corporate cards to their organizations' corporate account, the Estonia-based company announced Wednesday.
Under the new "employee-pay mode," business travelers can reclaim expenses through existing processes, and Bolt for Business clients still will "receive clean, consolidated data for finance teams and ESG reporting, as all rides are reported within the business account," according to the company.
Bolt's other option is "company-pay mode," which allows a client to centrally pay for all rides using a company payment method.
A Bolt for Business account manager can configure customers to use employee-pay mode, and the client adds employees to the business account. Those travelers then can add their corporate card to the Bolt app's payment section in account settings, according to the company.
