Canadian-based carrier WestJet's summer schedule includes new service and the restoration of 94 percent of its pre-pandemic routes, the carrier announced this week.
The carrier on May 19 will launch daily nonstop service between Toronto and Chicago. Its delayed three-times weekly service between Calgary and Boston will begin on June 30. Its delayed service between Alberta and Rome, Italy, will start on May 7, and new four-time weekly nonstop service between Alberta and London-Heathrow is set to start March 26.
WestJet also is restoring service between Toronto and Barcelona, Dublin, Edinburgh, Glasgow and London-Gatwick, and will increase service between Halifax and London-Gatwick, Dublin, Glasgow and Edinburgh.
At its summer peak, WestJet will serve 43 domestic, 23 transborder, 16 Caribbean and eight transatlantic destinations, according to the company.
