Richard McCord
Virgin Atlantic has appointed Richard McCord as CFO, effective Oct. 5, the carrier announced Thursday.
McCord joins the carrier from London Luton Airport, where he has been CFO since 2021. Previously, he held positions at the energy and services company Centrica and at PwC.
As CFO, McCord will be responsible for finance, treasury, procurement and fleet, insurance and internal audit, according to Virgin Atlantic.
Prior VP of corporate finance and group treasurer Ansar Hussain had been interim CFO since Jan. 1. He has been promoted to SVP in the finance division, according to Virgin Atlantic.
