All Samsung Galaxy Note7 smartphone devices are banned from
U.S. flights as of noon Oct. 15, per an emergency order issued on Friday by the
U.S. Department of Transportation, the Federal Aviation Administration and the
Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration. Travelers may not bring
the devices on planes either on their person, in carry-on bags or in checked
baggage.
