The U.S. Senate voted 95 to 3 to reauthorize the
Federal Aviation Administration, funding the entity through September 2017. The
Senate bill, which requires airlines to state fee charges at the time of ticket
purchase, now moves to the U.S. House of Representatives, which can either
approve it or pass its own version. The House version includes a proposal that
the Senate's bill
omits: to privatize the nation's air traffic control system.
