Low-cost carrier Breeze Airways will add Phoenix to its destinations list, with twice-weekly service between the Arizona city and each Charleston, S.C., and Provo, Utah, scheduled to begin Nov. 2, the airline announced Wednesday.
Breeze also will add another four routes between existing cities, with twice-weekly service between Charleston and Los Angeles to start Nov. 4; thrice-weekly service between Westchester, N.Y., and Nashville to start Nov. 2; twice-weekly service between Westchester and Sarasota-Bradenton, Fla., to start Nov. 5; and weekly service between Tampa and Syracuse, N.Y., to start Nov. 19.
In addition, the company announced on Tuesday that Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport in Providence will become a base of operations for Breeze in 2023. The carrier plans to grow its network at the airport to at least 20 routes, operating about 20 weekly departures by the end of next year. Breeze began flying to Providence in July 2021 and now has service to five destinations: Charleston, Jacksonville, Norfolk, Pittsburgh and Richmond.
