Air India has placed an order for 100 Airbus aircraft in addition to the 250 Airbus aircraft it ordered in 2023, the carrier announced Monday. The new purchase includes 10 widebody A350 aircraft and 90 narrowbody planes from the A320 family of aircraft, including A321neo planes.
Air India's outstanding order for Airbus aircraft is at 344, as it already has received six of the A350s ordered in 2023. The carrier also ordered 220 aircraft from Boeing in 2023, of which it has received 35 planes to date, according to the company.
