Global Air Traffic Growth Rate Reached Seven-Month High in September

Global passenger air traffic increased 7 percent year over year in September, its strongest rate of growth in seven months, according to the International Air Transport Association. European carriers saw international demand growth return to normal following months of terrorism and political instability. India and China continued to lead the way in growth on domestic routes, and the United States saw healthy growth after a slower July and August, according to IATA.
