Mark Meader will become ARC's vice president of business
development in late May, as part of the company's upcoming change in
governance.
Meader replaces Michael Premo, who will become ARC president
and CEO when current president and CEO David Collins retires on June 9.
"I expect Mark to deepen our skills in understanding
customer needs and more quickly getting the right products to them," said
Premo in a statement. "I'm confident he will help speed ARC's evolution as
a key source of valued products to not only our traditional airline and agent
customers, but to the growing community of travel industry customers using ARC
settlement and data services."
Meader spent 20 years at Sabre Holdings and its pre-spinoff
parent American Airlines, ascending to vice president of product marketing.
Most recently, Meader was consulting for United Airlines in connection with its
technology integration plan for the merger with Continental Airlines.
