BCD Travel is deepening its partnership with Brussels-based expense management company Mobilexpense to build two-way connectivity between Mobilexpense and BCD's Tripsource platform, the companies announced.
Mobilexpense—which reports 3,000 businesses as customers, ranging from small and midsized to multinational enterprises—has integrated with BCD to share data and connect booking expense. That enables clients to have such features as real-time expense report creation, invoice images that flow automatically into expense and a single sign-on with Tripsource and Mobilexpense, the companies said.
"Tripsource handles the booking, and together BCD Travel and Mobilexpense connect those expenses automatically, giving companies a clearer picture of the total trip cost without creating extra work for travelers and finance teams," Mobilexpense CEO Jonas Colombe said in a statement.
The companies said the two-way connectivity will be available to customers in 2027. BCD noted the integration particularly will benefit European customers, as Mobilexpense has capabilities designed around local requirements, such as daily allowances and country-specific compliance features.
Mobilexpense has been a part of BCD Marketplace since 2022, and in 2024, it was announced as an expense management integration partner for its SME platform GetGoing.
In recent months, BCD announced an expanded partnership with Emburse to provide a more integrated travel and expense offering. BCD said the collaborations help build its "open by design" approach for travel and expense platforms.
