Expense management platform Abukai has added new receipt capture and customization features to its mobile app, the company announced.
Among the new features are custom fields for company-specific fields such as project codes, work orders, job site numbers and property identifiers. Those fields can connect to enterprise data feeds via Abukai's API or through a direct integration to a cloud service or other third-party system, according to Abukai.
Abukai has been using the custom fields with "key corporate customers" and has now made them more widely available, according to the company.
Other new features were designed to improve the receipt capture process. The app now can automatically crop receipts and documents without the need for manual adjustment, and Abukai also added built-in flash support to enable users to take better photos when in low-light conditions, the company said.
